Milton Keynes Growth

Milton Keynes’s success story goes on…

Milton Keynes has grown over the past five decades to become one of the finest town in Britain with the fastest growing community in Europe and with the lowest unemployment rate outside London. Milton Keynes has been built a la carte with careful planning to make it a better place to live, work and raise a family. One of the things we are so proud of is the green scenery across the town. In every single area of Milton Keynes, you are less than a mile away from a park. Trees, gardens and flowers fence every corner around the town. Campbell Park is a great location with beautiful grass and flowers. Not far away we have the River Ouse. Willen Lake, Furzon Lake and Caldecotte Lake offer water sports opportunities to many schools and families in Milton Keynes and its surroundings.

50 years in the life most towns and cities are not old to be transformed the way Milton Keynes has. So much has happened in a short space of time and it continues to happen. Milton Keynes is growing on daily basis. We feel that because it is very easy to drive around in Milton Keynes with the grid road system not too many people take their time to walk around to experience the sheer beauty and tranquillity the city offers.

Come out massively as one to celebrate the achievements of MK citizens and its leaders. Many companies and businesses are now settling their headquarters in Milton Keynes. Increasingly, more families are gravitating towards this town. They see Milton Keynes as a perfect place for their children to grow and get educated in some of best schools in England.

Milton Keynes is in transition mode and it still has an undeniable potential for growth. Plans are underway to meet the challenges ahead such as new housing, roads, transport in the city, recreation places, schools and a local university. A forward thinking process to position Milton Keynes as a new city.

As we are closing on its 50th anniversary, I urge every single individual living in Milton Keynes regardless of ethnicity, creed, culture, religious background or status whether you are business leaders, decisions makers, students, workers to join as ONE and come walk with us on the 1st April 2017 to celebrate Milton Keynes, Our City Our Soul.
